HOW TO INSTALL PRESETS INTO LIGHTROOM CC (CLOUD APP)

how to guides

Step 1

Download your files from your downloads section of your account page. Once downloaded, extract the files somewhere easy to remember (such as your desktop).

Step 2

Open Lightroom CC (double check you have the latest version) and navigate to your editing screen. Normally found by choosing “My Photos” on the left.

Step 3

Open your editing panel by clicking on the icon on the right if it isn’t already. This will reveal all your editing sliders.

Step 4

Next, look at the very bottom of the panel to find a Presets button. Click this.

Step 5

A panel presenting all your presets should now open. At the very top right, click the three dots (…) to open the menu. Once open, click on Import Presets…

Step 6

Navigate to where you extracted your downloads and select all the .xmp files. Then, click on import.

Step 7

Lightroom will now import the presets into itself. If you do not see the presets make sure all your preset folders are expanded (as sometimes they can land in one of them).

Step 6

Thats it! 🙂 Have fun!

Troubleshooting

If for some reason you have troubles installing the presets, try these suggestions or contact us directly through the Live Chat or Contact form.

  • Make sure you are using the latest version of Lightroom CC . Our presets, unless specified, only work in the versions of Lightroom that use .xmp files. This is basically all of Lightroom CC. Older versions such as Lightroom 4 – 5 use a file format called .lrtemplate which we do not provide.
  • Sometimes the presets are placed in your User Presets, Color or some other random folder. It happens. Make sure you check each folder within Lightroom’s Preset panel to check they aren’t hiding there.
